OUR residential compound in Kigali, Rwanda is home to young children previously living on the streets. IN THIS SAFE FAMILY ENVIRONMENT, CHILDREN RECEIVE Proper nutrition, education, tutoring, sports, dance instruction, SOCIAL RECREATIONAL activities AND LOVE.

BASKETBALL COURTS
We build colorful sport courts and conduct basketball and sports clinics. Our projects emphasize fun, health and teamwork. Creating special spaces further contributes to the mental and physical wellbeing of children in the community.

FAMILY HOME
Unstable home environments can lead to young children leaving home and living on the streets in search of food and shelter. Our home in Kigali provides a warm family dynamic for a small group of children.

House of Takura generously donates African made backpacks to our communities in Rwanda. Access to adequate school supplies is essential for students’ success.

ALBINISM SUN PROTECTION
Coolibar generously donates sun protection hats and clothing for orphaned children with albinism living in rural areas of Rwanda.
We partner to support local NGO “Hand In Hand for Development.” Together we are working to provide healthy and happy childhoods.

EDUCATION
Each child in our home attends an accredited school and receives personalized educational support for their unique needs. Private language, dance and art tutoring is also provided at home.

PERIODS
Remote communities do not have access to period management products. Without access to products, personal hygiene, bodily autonomy, and school attendance suffer greatly.
We are partnered with responsible retailers to provide life changing sustainable products. We deliver over 4,000 pairs of period underwear to over 1,300 women each year.
